The other side

Previously I posted a photo of a chic Russian lady. Yes their young people are very beautiful indeed. They carry with them a certain stride of confidence about the future.

But during my trip, I also noticed a great number of old women who were destitutes, begging for money on the streets. These women probably lived through the Cold War and never knew the kind of hope the younger generation now embraces. I remember thinking to myself then, who will be their hope? what do they have to look forward to?

Life is so cruel isn’t it?
