Clumsy hands
25 days after qiqi’s birth, this mummy finally plucked the courage to bathe her.
And it was a disaster.
Qiqi obviously knew that the one handling her was inexperienced coz she wailed loudly throughout the whole session.
But thankfully Aunty Yifeng (our confinement helper) kept a close watch over us and helped me out periodically. She kept telling me not to panic just because the baby is crying. Focus on the task instead and take my time to bathe baby thoroughly.
I thought that was VERY good advice. She didn’t rush me or give me looks of disapproval. So I didn’t feel overly stressed at my clumsy “performance”.
Well, this mummy certainly needs more training and OJT. We’ll try again tomorrow.

Maybe if I really suck at bathing baby, I’ll have to resort to the Farlin bathing net I bought.

Yeah, it gets better with practice. As they grow older, the new problem is how to make them stand still while u bathe them.
